yep, i did use a pattern (i just added it to the description above). they were super easy to make - my first pair of socks ever!

If these are your first u must b a natural. I've hand knit socks for years. Be careful, once you give your dear ones a pair of hand knits they won't want to go back to store bought. So be ready to keep knitting
