New BurdaEasy Pattern: Coats!

Introducing the latest release from the BurdaEasy HW/2014 issue… BurdaEasy Coats! This coat has a waistline seam to make it easy to panel different coat fabrics together and it is closed by either a zipper or push buttons. One variation includes large bellow pockets with zippers and the other mocks pockets with just the flaps! Either way you make this coat, it will be easy to sew and is a great pattern for tackling your first coat sewing project. Download yours here.

DIY Halloween Costume: Meg Reveals her "The Dress" Costume!

Well here it is, my finished Halloween costume! Is it blue and black, or white and gold? This was a fun costume to make, and I imagine a more fun costume to wear. It was a lot more work than I initially anticipated, but I’m so glad I stuck with it (I even had to run out to get more gold lace mid way through)!
