I love the One Shoulder Maxi and Flower Dress from our recent Honeymooners pattern collection. I vision these dresses to be worn at a beach resort, with the fabric gusting in the summer wind…wow I wish that could me right now! To indulge my fantasy I created this style guide for these dresses, and how I would wear them.

Here we have a lovely resort style pattern collection from the June 2013 issue of burda style magazine. The styles are all loose fitting and great for destination travels because of their layering capability and fabric choices. These designs are perfectly presented in printed and plain bright fabrics that are fun enough for summertime and sophisticated enough for the modern woman.

Hello! Yes it is time for my May burda style magazine mash-up already, and I am really excited about my new garment! Over the last month I have gotten so much wear out of my spandex bustier that I made last month. The May 2013 had some goodies but I was in mood for making and wearing a dress this month, so that is why I picked a dress pattern from the Bright Whites pattern collection. I also wanted to see what a dress from this collection would look not in boring white! To make it for myself, I needed to mash it up with spandex and bright green…obviously.

I’m so excited to be here with you! I’m BurdaStyle’s new Content Director, so you might start to see me around quite a bit.
