just bought some stripe fabric nearly exactly the same as this plan to make a tunic dress next week using a simple pattern- just 2 pieces cant wait to wear it! im a very new sewer and amazed at the different fabrics and fabric patterns available far better than any you see on shop rails soo excited!

Just downloaded the dress pattern. So excited to get started, its been so long! Can someone explain the best way to add seam allowance? Why does Burda Not add Seam allowance? This kinda makes me crazy.

What’s going on with the belted skirt at the bottom? Quite strange, but maybe better in a solid.
