Our latest patterns and projects make us long for days at the beach under the sun. What better way to get a nautical resort-Inspired look than sewing with stripes?

Check out our Stretch Tunic Dress done in striped garbardine with sherbet-inspired hues. We love that it has pockets, too! For the dress averse, try your hand at our new Wide Legged Pants pattern with front pleats, modeled here in silk satin vertical stripes. For those who want to get inventive with stripes and just can’t seem to find the perfect fabric print, our new Cardigan pattern with front pockets is the perfect candidate for color blocking to create your own design!     just bought some stripe fabric nearly exactly the same as this plan to make a tunic dress next week using a simple pattern- just 2 pieces cant wait to wear it! im a very new sewer and amazed at the different fabrics and fabric patterns available far better than any you see on shop rails soo excited!

    Just downloaded the dress pattern. So excited to get started, its been so long! Can someone explain the best way to add seam allowance? Why does Burda Not add Seam allowance? This kinda makes me crazy.

    What’s going on with the belted skirt at the bottom? Quite strange, but maybe better in a solid.
