Drawing on the success from it’s first outing last year in New York, Maker Faire was back and double the fun this past weekend at the New York Hall of Science in Queens! We were there with our BERNINA Series 3 machines, gorgeous Renaissance Ribbons and custom printed Spoonflower fabric stitching up our famous Make + Take drawstring bags.
As if that wasn’t enough to keep our booth visitors busy, we also brought along our friends from Blumenthal Lansing who supplied endless amounts of eye-catching buttons for our button project station. Stitching away on the BERNINA Series 3 machines.

How adorable is this brother/sister duo? Gotta start ’em sewing young.

Another round of gorgeous fabric courtesy of Spoonflower, plus perfectly coordinating ribbon from Renaissance Ribbons!

People went crazy for our button projects! Thanks to Blumenthal Lansing for all the wonderful materials.

A few of the awesome button creations, including headbands, bracelets and rings.

Thanks again to BERNINA, Spoonflower, Renaissance Ribbons, Blumenthal Lansing, the amazing Maker Faire staff and all of our wonderful volunteers who helped to make our 2011 experience so amazing!
