I LOVE washed out colors. The collections I design for my clothing line usually consist exclusively of black, white, grey, dusty rose, sage green— any color one may see a few moments after the sun has set, at dusk, when they sky is awash in washed out pastels. These washed out looks are super cool silhouettes for a muted color palate.
I am dying over the shape of this leather jacket— it’s angular yet has volume, the sleeve head looks perfect and the way the jacket moves is so cool. Even if you’re not a fan of leather, This Jacket Pattern (top left) has such an awesome fit it would look amazing in faux suede, sueded silk or even a stiffer cotton/linen.
I love bare shoulders in the summer, when they’re tanned or freckled it’s fun to show them off. This Rusched Halter Dress is a sexy number for a summer night out— and would look great with a pashmina or capelet.
I can’t seem to make, or own, enough dresses, and this one is a sure must-have for my wardrobe. Check out the lines of this Draped Front Tank Dress (top right) and see for yourself what inspired me to sew today!
High-waist skirts are IN— they are flattering to most body types and accentuate the waist. This one is a bit of a risk, but for those who adore rusching, they this Rusched Skirt Pattern and be daring! (See our member’s creation of this skirt here!)

The posts about the jacket pattern are all about the awfulness of the instructions—in fact, they are apparently the wrong instructions—for another jacket entirely. Does Burda monitor these kinds of problems and fix them?

Hello, We do moderate and my guess is that there was a mistake when uploading these instructions and that this was corrected after it was brought to our attention. I have checked the instructions now and they are correct and for the correct pattern.
Best,
Emmy
