After countless nights of creating and wearing deconstructed clothing for the early 90s club scene, designers Annika Sanders and Kerry Seager decided to bring their unique, free-form sense of style to the masses, creating a clothing company aptly named Junky Styling.

Fashion Designer Bob Martin inspires you, to get your creative juices flowing

Fashion designer Bob Martin of “How to Fashion Design with Bob Martin” will be with us over the next few weeks teaching all of us through video and blogs the art and skill of fashion design.

Having a deep desire to become a Fashion Designer, Bob Martin, moved to London, England to attend American InterContinental University. He won various award and graduated Valedictorian of his class, among talented classmates such as Christian Siriano, winner of Project Runway. Though he has worked for designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Michael Azu, and Edward Griffiths and designed for theater and films such as Tim Burton’s “Sweeney Todd” and “Batman Dark Knight”, it was his time at AIU in which he developed a passion for relating to students and awaking the Designer in others

His time working with and helping students in workshops sparked his interest in teaching and mentoring. With a strong passion to see the very best come out in people and with his team at KKC Enterprise, he created “How to Fashion Design with Bob Martin”, an interactive program for people of all ages who are serious or even just curious about Becoming a Fashion Designer. The idea came from our desire to discover and share some the best places to get a proper sewing, notions or fabric-buying fix. How to locate the nearest BSC with Google Maps

Find your nearest BSC by entering your city and state in the Google Maps search engine. Click on the BurdaStyle Sewing Club tabs at the bottom left corner, then check the BurdaStyle Sewing Clubs category. Zoom out on the map to see just how far your nearest BSC is!
