Hurrah! Holiday time has arrived! Or at least time for a meander through the city. Styles for moms and kids – in fantastic maritime colors and nautical styles.

A must-have for every travel case. The knit hoodie adjusts at the neckline with a zipper and adds a warm layer against windy days at the beach. It goes without saying that it is likely to be a favorite for relaxing at home, too…

The skirt is cut on the bias to give a beautiful drape for the look of the dress. The back includes a sweet detail on an otherwise clean-cut design. The tips of the back bodice panels cross over to create a sexy cutout. The cut is also one that works well for solid color or white fabrics.

The relaxed cut makes the blouse with the mandarin collar and pleats at the yoke a breezy, yet sophisticated choice that transitions well with the seasons – especially as it warms. Relax the look even further by folding the sleeves up. Paired with pencil trousers or skirts, this is a crisp style for the office.

This top with its rounded hems works well with more than just casual trousers. For an extra pop at the neckline, sew a decorative cording along the edge.

A relaxed classic that gets a sexy makeover. The edges, seams and neckline of the marine blue tank top are enclosed with white binding strips. Sew it in a solid color for a perfect basic wardrobe addition that looks great with a blazer. The binding strips are cut on the bias and pressed into shape before being sewn on.

A fresh twist for the classic bomber jacket in a retro look stripe fabric. The stripes add a softness to the cut that gets a detailed finish with the strong black rib and snaps as a contrast element. The flap of the pockets also gets a splash of color using the red stripe as the accent. The jacket is one you will reach for often as it keeps the chill out as the seasons change whether you choose a pair of jeans or a long skirt.

Gathers at the side seams and in back give more than just a curvy figure – it gets an additional visual boost from the horizontal stripes set in place for a fresh spin on this classic holiday dress. The neckline and cutout are finished with bias strips – like a T-shirt. You’ll reach for this often whether for sightseeing, sailing or simply relaxing.

A perfect travel wardrobe choice. Zippered pockets, cuffed hems, and a cased waist make these trousers so comfortable that they will feel just right on the trip back home, too!

Pleats at the back neckline, elastic casings at the sleeves and hem, and a slit neckline are a perfect combination of details for a beautifully cascading drape on this relaxed shirt. Style tip: Wear it with an A-line skirt for a sporty elegant look. Or, wear it around the house for the ultimate in comfy relaxation.

Love this casual vacation wardrobe, if only it came in plus size.

I will be taking grandkids to the beach, chasing them if we go to a theme park, going shopping with my daughter, and relaxing around the resort in the eveniings with my husband of 40 years. I like the casual look of this collection with pants, the tank top (under a lightweight shirt worn open), a casual jacket for the ocean breezes, and one or two dresses. Bermuda or Capri lengths might look better for me now that I am over sixty than the shorts shown on the younger model Those garments were not part of the pattern collection – I do have denim Capris to substitute from my own closet). I also love the bright summery colors.
