2009 has been quite an interesting year in fashion. Designers have pulled inspiration from the thriftiness of the depression era to the masculine curves of the ’80s, from an early ’90s sporting look to ’40s inspired Grecian goddesses. With looks ranging from Casablanca to Blade Runner, fashion seemed to have no rules or regulations this year.

What were your favorite looks of 2009? Where do you see fashion moving? What do you want to get rid of? See more of?

As long as I continue to see WEARABLE clothing, I’ll be ok. I’ve really enjoyed the wide range of looks we’ve seen this year. There is so much to be inspired by. From the slide show, I gott say I LOVE the Marc Jacobs “Henry & June” looks. Also, the leather of the Blade Runner group is really fun. I’m delighted that the motorcycle and aviator/bomber jacket made such a big comeback this year.

NO ONE looks good in harem pants. NO ONE. Not even actual members of a harem.

Why are they trying so hard to make the models look so bad? :) I´m really glad that fashion has no rules, not only in 2009… When high waisted or skinny throusers are the most trendy thing, I just don´t have to wear them! That´s great. People are free to wear what they want, and I´m kind of sorry that still everybody wears the same thing and not many dare to be original…
