yes Borders is the way to go I have been buying Burda for the past 30 years. living in Queensland Summer issues are the most usefull. As I don’t need a lot of winter clothing I feel a subcription would be a waist of money. If you request through the german site you use of the language needs to be good.

Jul 20, 2010, 07.37 PMby purplefan For non-German issues outside of North America-the language list does show Spanish!

For some of the membership, ordering from BurdaStyle directly might alleviate the tendency to get the current issue 2-3 months late, depending on the distributors in their countries.

If you live in North America, Canadians can subscribe through German Canadian News for English, French, German and Russian editions of the magazine. The Easy Fashion is also available but not in English-FYI. Bookstores-BurdaStyle is available in major cities through Indigo; Toronto downtown-you can score issues through the Great Canadian News store next to the Hockey Hall of Fame on Yonge St. Don’t forget to try German delicatessens, in case they carry a selection of German language publications.

Americans can subscribe through German Language Publications in New Jersey.

I don’t see Spanish language issues shown on the US distributor’s site. But there likely is Spanish BurdaStyle, as I have seen an old Portuguese language issue from the 1990s (from a friend of the family). I have noticed on eBay that someone sells current issues online (, you want ebay Classico category before you type in Burda and 2010 as your search terms).

Try a large university bookstore for issues, in case they have large foreign language departments-you might find issues that way too.

The magazine is in spanish. I believe it all depends on where you are in the world. I would write in and see how much it would be for you

I think they are out of New Jersey, so if you send a note, they should respond. I subscribe through GLP and i get a paper bill.
Check this link out to their customer service :)

In the UK it’s much easier to subscribe via Unique Magazines, as you can get a 6 or 12 month subscription (and they also do Burda Plus and Patrones magazines, too)

      Here’s the link:

Hello! I know this question’s place is not here but probably it isn’t elsewhere either so here i go! I live in Romania,Bucharest and I started buying Burda recently…the first I got was 8/2009 and both the magazine and the instructions were in romanian but then I bought 5/2010 and the magazine was in dutch and only the instructions were in romanian…it would really help me to get a magazine in english or romanian so could you help me telling me if they are selling such in Bucharest or in other city [I could get it from anywhere] Thank you .
