This week’s pick is the boho Raglan Lace Dress.

We’re starting to see fall collections here at BurdaStyle.com (like the tomboy chic Block Party), but I want to do one more summer look from our Golden Sands collection. The Raglan Lace Dress is so dreamy and sweet… perfect for taking advantage of warm nights!

With the fluttery hem, drawstring neck, and bell sleeves, the Raglan Lace Dress has a vintage bohemian feel. Play up the gypsy vibe with folk-inspired accessories like chunky rings and wood or shell earrings, and spritz your hair with salt spray to get a windblown, natural look. Thick wooden platforms or distressed boots give a rock star edge that keeps the look from being too girlie. Add some oversized sunglasses and a leather bag, and you’re ready to hit a flea market or folk festival!

In sheer tulle, this dress is a great layering piece. Throw it on over skinny pants or leggings to take this look into fall, and trade your sandals for boots.

To see the full length version of this dress, check out the Long Sleeve Maxi. Make it in silk and wear it through fall!

Happy sewing,
Mandie

I really loved this collection and is thinking about buying one for the summers. This indeed makes a lady look like a chic with those loose fluttery top. I don’t think that there is any need for sunglasses, which may make it look classy. homes for independent living

Could I get the Ninja Hood, Ninja Sandals, as well as the Blue and Pink PJ set? :) I’ll try and bring you some clothes to catalog.

I bet this dress could still be used as fall sets in. Since I live in the Southeastern US, our “fall wardrobes” required us to be able to cool off or bundle up within the same day. Same with Spring (which lasts all of a week!)
