To say that we are merely fans of Spoonflower might be a bit of an understatement. The fact that we can make our wildest fabric dreams come true through their custom printing services gets us just as hot and bothered as a load of new sewing patterns or a split-second flash of inspiration. However, we’re not the only ones showing one of our favorite fabric creators some love, designer Malan Breton used custom printed fabric from Spoonflower to create garments for his spring 2012 runway show during New York Fashion week and we hope that this is just the beginning of designers taking advantage of the amazing range of possibilities Spoonflower provides!

Thanks to Darci at Spoonflower for giving us the heads up on Malan’s work, and to get started on your own customized fabric head over to Spoonflower.com!

I absolutely love Spoonflower and have been known to lose an entire day creating fabric designs on the site. And the prices are amazingly low for custom-printed fabrics, particularly the silks. It’s a great tool for anyone who works with fabric.
