Dare I say it…..the trousers almost look like they could be made from a quality cotton fleece as lounge pants or fancy track pants. Is it wishful thinking to want that level of comfort without sacrificing style?

this was one of my favorite editorials- and one of my favorite issues. About a year before this, i had cut out a picture of a model wearing the couture version of the “V neck dress.” That’s my absolute favorite thing about Burda- getting designer style patterns.

in the magazine, view B is long shorts made from corduroy. In the recommended fabrics it just says, “trouser fabrics.”
I don’t know if that helps.
fyi- i always need at least 2% stretch in all my pants.

The pattern only has dart shaping at the back – I imagine that might be why they suggest stretch fabrics
