Where are you from and where do you live? What do you do other than sewing?
I come from the very small village of Normandy, France. I lived there until the age of 17, then moved to Paris to study architecture. During my studies I was lucky to stay a year in Göteborg, Sweden, thanks to an exchange program. Last year, after completing my Masters last year, I moved to Montréal, Canada where I have been living for nearly 7 months.

I grew up splitting my time between a small northern New Hampshire town and an even smaller northern Vermont town where my dad lived in a cabin in the woods.

Where are you from and where do you live? What do you do other than sewing?
I am from Santa Cruz, California but for the past 5 months I have been traveling through South America. Before my trip, I was a buyer for a fabric store and did custom dressmaking and small design projects on the side. In addition to sewing, I like playing the ukulele, eating delicious food, drawing and traveling!

I am from the east coast of the United States — Virginia, specifically. I moved to the West Coast almost ten years ago and now reside in San Francisco. I love it out here, but Virginia will always hold a special place in my heart.

What is your dream sewing project?
There are so many things on my drawing board! I would love one day to become a lingerie designer, so an actual collection that I had designed and made patterns for would be my dream. Also, I’d like to think that in the future, if I get married, I would make my own wedding dress. I think that has to be the ultimate sewing project, doesn’t it?!

Where are you from and where do you live? What do you do other than sewing?
I was born in Austria, in a small town called Innsbruck. For the last 12 years, I have lived together with my beloved husband and my cat in Berlin, Germany. Due to a cronic illness (polyneuropathy), I had to stop working about 5 years ago and that brought me to sewing.

Where are you from and where do you live?
I grew up in the country part of Victoria, Australia and moved to the crazy-beautiful city of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 11 years ago. Melbourne is a city made up of an exciting mix of art, music, hidden restaurants and amazing coffee, and is magically able to produce four seasons in one day.
