Rodarte’s exclusive line for Target has arrived (well, it’s old news now but I’ve just gotten around to putting together some shots from the look-book). What do you think about this collection, with pieces starting at $12.99? Anna Sui’s Target line is in stores now and Jean-Paul Gaultier’s American pop inspired line hits store March 7th.

I personally don’t love the styling- I think, for an inexpensively produced line, the pieces can work as separates, but I don’t love it as an entire look…I am always one for a cardigan! But never Doc Martins…

It looks tacky especially with the boots. I agree with NessyS on the fact that there’s waaaay better stuff on burdastyle than any of the above.

To be completely honest, I don’t find their Target line all that exciting. Sure, in this layout, the way the ensembles are put TOGETHER is interesting…. I get the lace, and the need for artistic sensibility, but there is still something missing for me.

I don’t know if we will get this Target line in Australia – but I can take these or leave these!! Personally, I think most of the creations I see completed on Burdastyle leaves this clothing line for dead!

I’m with ya! The (fill in the blank) for Target lines always look a lot cheaper than the real deal. Well, duh. But something about the Rodarte line looks even more so to me. And I think it’s the lace.

It kind of looks like they needed clothes so they put fabric together and threw on some tights!

I LOVE this line! I am a full-on Minnesota girl which means a) I love Target and b) I love good deals. At this point, everything in the Rodarte line is WAY above what I pay for clothes, but I will patiently wait for clearance to happen! I really like the fushia stuff (not in this pic).

I am from Minnesota too! AND LOOOOOOOVE Target way to much. They just built one 3 blocks from my house…dangerous.

Ha ha! Well I live in Southern California now, and HAVE one 3 blocks from my house! It may be dangerous, but I can walk or bike there, so I feel good about being nice to the environment as I feed my addiction.

I ended up buying some Rodarte on clearance this weekend!

i was really excited when it came out, but unfortunately I’ve been too busy sewing to go to the store. I spend way too much in target!!!! I have to say my fave from designers for target has been either luella, paul & joe, or tracy feith. so hard to decide. can’t wait for more though!!! I wish betsey johnson would do something for target. I like designers for H&M also.
