New Cutting Layout


Every digital sewing pattern here on BurdaStyle.com has a cutting layout within the instructions, and each piece has a grainline on it that corresponds to the grain of the fabric. It is essential that if your pattern’s instructions indicate your pieces parallel to the grain that you prep your fabric as so:

    What does she mean by “pre-treat” the fabric? Does she mean wash or pre-shrink?
