This week we bring you a polka dot filled collection from burda style magazine’s June 2013 issue. These style have a slight nod to the 70s’ and all made in great dotted prints! Check them all out.

What a perfect day Shift Dress to throw on for day tripping and shopping! This mini shift dress has a relaxed fit with patch pockets and piping.

Lovely Blouse made from seersucker fabric with mini collar and 3/4 length sleeves. Makes a great layering piece.

Wide swinging Godet Skirt with bow waistband. Its volume is created by the many godets sewn in.

This is not your ordinary Tank! It has a plunging neckline and sophisticated double strap detail that is so unique.

Sleeveless summer Dress made from printed batiste. It consists of two dresses that brought together with elastic at the waist. The different layers can also be worn individually.

Everyone needs a pair of cute Shorts for summertime, and these ones with rolled up hems and welt pockets are perfect.

Shirt or dress? That is the question, and yes it can be both! This Dress with shirt details is great for spring and casual wear in the day. It has a lapel style collar and large pockets.

This form-fitting sleeveless Tank has a flattering cowl and made in a stretch jersey, so it is so comfortable to wear!

Happy Sewing!

I love the Godet Skirt. That’s on my must-make list. The double-strap Tank is also really nice. I think that will make a fantastic beach/pool cover-up. I love the other styles. Very simple and classic. :) Does anyone else notice the dots on the shorts down the front seam look like cell division or have I just been studying biology too long? :)

Love these clothes, absolutely love polka dots, and really loving the variety in models – race, age, size. Not a starving waif in sight! Gives a much better idea of what it’ll look like on different shapes at different stages. Way to go Burda!!

I just got the whole magazine that includes these patterns. My boyfriend brought it to me from France. I can’t wait to make a couple of these before my summer vacay.
