Paris Fashion Week wrapped up last week. Paris both confirmed the key trends spotted at the other fashion weeks, as well as highlighting some new trends. There was an overall monochromatic palette in simple silhouettes. Sportswear dominated the runway and is sure to be a hot trend this coming Spring / Summer 2013. Take a look at all the trends we spotted below.

Balmain (left) and Roland Mouret (right) put power-shoulders on display.

One-shoulder designs were seen at the Givenchy (left) and Christian Dior (right) runway shows.

Mod styling was present at Chanel (left) and Louis Vuitton (right)

Valentino (left) and Pedro Lourence (right) took a step into the boudoir.

Ruffles, ruffles, and more ruffles! We spotted structured ruffles from Chloé (left) and Dries Van Noten (right).

The bold graphic contrast of black and white was a key look in Paris as seen from Balmain (left) and Devastee (right).

Stella McCartney (left) and Chanel (right) have shown the sport-chic look right!

Cobalt blue was a strong color embraced by designers Alexis Mabille (left) and Junya Watanabe (right).
What is your favorite Paris Fashion Week key trend?

I like the Sports luxe look by Chanel. I want those balloon-type sleeves, I know they make your arms look BIG but it’s so cool! And the Louis Vuitton dresses, although I would be too shy to wear them in case they moved around too much and reveal TOO much!

ok, I love the Chanel mod top. It looks like it has kimono sleeves too. Cute!
Power shoulders… I used to hate shoulder pads, but I’ve been so into 40s fashion that they’ve kind of grown on me. Maybe very small ones in a structured jacket might not make me look too “Alexis Carrington.”
My favorite picture is the super chunky boucle tweed at the top. Who is that from?

I did a little research and found that Linton has made wool tweeds for Chanel over the years. No doubt, the fabrics above are custom-designed for Chanel. Here is the website:
