We’re excited to announce the launch of the all new Featured Designer Patterns… exclusive to BurdaStyle.com!

We’re starting june off on a stylish note with a new line of web-exclusive pattern downloads. We’re bringing you fashionable designs with easy-to-follow instructions and the same great fit you’re used to.

Our introductory style is a stunning sleeveless peplum dress. Designed with versatility in mind, this dress is easy to style for any occasion. You can wear it with a light blazer for a day at the office, then slip on a pair of strappy heels and a few statement accessories for a summer night out!

Try sewing the dress in a soft floral for a pretty, feminine look. A peplum works wonders for creating a sultry hourglass silhouette. Simple and sophisticated, this is one of our favorite styles for summer. We hope you love it as much as we do!

I have to agree with everyone else, sorry :-/ even though the peplum has been around for a while now, I would design it in a little more dramatic way to add interest or some sexiness to the dress…

I’m not one to pile on, but…. The saving grace for this dress is the model. Without her, it would be a total loss.

This just looks like a princess block pattern with a peplum.

Mega boxy and blagh… Not sure the " designer" would get a pass mark for this.

There are Burda style members who have designed amazing outfits from scratch. Can’t you feature so,me of their works?
