Ahoy! We are showcasing this kid’s pattern collection from burda style magazine’s October 2011 issue. These nautical designs are so adorable and look great on your little ones at the sea side. This collection includes fun wardrobe staples from coats to layering dresses in classic stripes that play on the nautical theme.

This Girl’s Striped Dress can easily be worn over tights or leggings, and it looks great belted with a contrast sash!

Your little one will feel all grown up in this Duffle Coat for boys! It has many great details including shoulder tabs and cool toggle buttons.

This little girl’s knit Pullover is so versatile and can be worn over and over again. It has a lovely front embroidery and a shoulder zipper for that special touch.

What a lovely way to complete an outfit! This Girl’s Jumper features shoulder buttons and cute patch pockets.

Every boy needs pants with lots of pockets! These Cargo-style Trousers are perfect, they feature various pockets and have a loose fit so your little can move with ease.

This adorable girl’s Duffle Coat is so practical and will sure keep her warm!

Stripes are such a great fabric for tops! This little Girl’s Tunic is so cute with its waist gathers and can even be worn year-round.
Happy Sewing, and Ahoy!

love the simplicity and timelessness! Kids clothes should look like this all the time.

These are some great patterns!! I LOVE the nautical theme. I agree with some of the others – can you make these in bigger sizes please? I’d love to see the cargos for boys up to age 12, and the pullover and tunic for older girls, (and me!)

These are nice patterns. But I wanted to ask if there will be no more Friday Freebies, just to settle my mind. Are they relocated or have they been completely removed?

I love these! Wish they were for bigger kids (and maybe me too….) So cute. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love cargo-style trousers but it’s too small size for my son. He’s now 9. :(

I am so in love with these patterns.
I have a son, so the Duffle Coat & Cargo trousers are on my “to make” list. The pullover can totally work for boys too.
These are some really great options for girls too. Haha, I totally wouldn’t mind adapting one of my patterns to make the jumper for me!
