The end is near. Time to get those submissions in to our amazing ReMake competition with Project Runway and Rowenta. Don’t forget that you must have everything into us, including a short description of how you incorporated an iron into your project, by 11:59 pm EST on September 30th to be eligible. From there we will chose the top 50 creations that you will then be able to vote on starting October 4th. So far, we like what we’re seeing and we can’t wait to share the top 50 with you.

Why is my picture not showing up on the “project” page for the remake challenge? Can this be fixed?

Hi missycas,
I’m able to see all of your images for the project. Is there still a problem? What browser are you using?

So all we do is post it on our profiles or do we need to email it in?

The final step in the submission process is an email to submissions@burdastyle.com.

Is there another page where we submit our written descriptions and attach the pictures of our projects? Lynne

Nope, those materials needed to be sent by email to submissions@burdastyle.com

Gotcha! OK then I will just leave it, or maybe move the notes to the description…

Hi Rachel, Well i got it published and the “Project Description” IS showing the breaks, but the “Materials Notes,” are not. Let me know if I need to do something differently or if you can fix it from your end. Thanks!

Hi mysticah,
Oops! I gave you some wrong information. I was testing the space in Material Notes and I forgot that you can NOT include spaces. Material Notes are meant for a list of materials so the characters appear in list form. Sorry about that.

Thanks Rachel! I am using Firefox 3.5.13 I think it is the latest. Here is the link: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/remake-challenge-2-old-thrift-store-leather-jackets-become-one-hot-leather-skirt
I have not yet published it…

Hmm..I see paragraph breaks in there already. I also tried editing it and it’s possible for me to create paragraph breaks by hitting the return key. I would restart your browser or try a different one, it’s not a bug. Send me an email if you are still experiencing problems.

Hi, I am re-posting this here as I am trying to get my ReMake project uploaded and am having the same problem sparklemonster posted on AUGUST 10 (and there is still no answer to be found)
I have a lengthy ‘Project Description’ and ‘Material Notes’ that is almost unreadable with out paragraph breaks. Should I just post my photos and a single sentence in the ‘Project Description’ and ‘Material Notes’? Thanks!

I’m having a hard time figuring out how to have paragraph breaks. Hitting return doesn’t work. typing p. (as suggested in the full textile 2.0 document), neither does making standard HTML for paragraphing. Help.

I am having the same problem! I have spent waaaay too much time trying to format a new project in the ‘Project Description’ and ‘Material Notes’ No matter what I do, I can’t get any paragraph breaks so it turns into one looong, hard to read paragraph. HELP!

Hi mysticah,
Apologies for not catching your question in Discussions. There is no character limit for “Project Description” or “Materials Notes,” and using your return key should successfully create page breaks. It may be a bug on your profile. What browser are you using? If you’d like me to test out your profile, send me a link to the project:
