BurdaStyle has been invited to host a “Make It Thursday” event at the American Folk Art Museum in New York City!
In celebration of the recent release of The BurdaStyle Sewing Handbook, co-authors Nora Abousteit (Co-Founder) and Alison Kelly (Creative Director) will be on-hand to give a behind-the-scenes look at how the book concept was developed, and well as the inspiration behind the designs, patterns and concepts seen in the book.
Come meet some of the BurdaStyle crew, and enjoy refreshments at this fun and informative event, held on Thursday, December 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
For more information, please go here. General, non-museum member admission is $10, but BurdaStyle members get in $5 at the door! However, as space is limited, please note that this discount does not guarantee reserved admission. $10 tickets can be pre-purchased through the American Folk Art Museum website.

Hi Bunny,
The event will be a look into the making of our book. I don’t believe anything will made, but I hope it will inspire you to make something from the book! :)

I wish I could justify a trip to NYC on such short notice. :( Sounds super fun!
