How to locate the nearest BSC with Google Maps
Find your nearest BSC by entering your city and state in the Google Maps search engine. Click on the BurdaStyle Sewing Club tabs at the bottom left corner, then check the BurdaStyle Sewing Clubs category. Zoom out on the map to see just how far your nearest BSC is!

I’m from Eastpointe Michigan, and there aren’t any members near me, how do we go about starting one in my area? I could be the group leader, I’ve got lot’s of experience and I am an expert in pattern making and fashion design, and I’m an expert sewer. Just don’t have any contacts in my area that sew.

Besides posting here on Burda this is what else I’ve done to promote the Auburn Hills startup group. I put a notice on Craigslist, posted on online community bulletin board at JoAnn Fabrics website, and hung tear off flyers locally on bulletin boards.
So far, I’m not sure anyone will show up but me… I also emailed a few friends that enjoy sewing. If you sign up at the http://burdastyleclubs.ning.com/ site for Auburn Hills, I will keep you informed if I find people on the east side.
btw My husband commuted for 13 years to Grosse Pointe from Clarkston area.
