With Valentine’s Day coming up on Monday, we’ve been scouring the web for some ideas of what to wear on the day of the year dedicated to love. When we came across this amazing little DIY tutorial from ModCloth, our hearts just melted!
Such a super simple project that you can do in 10 minutes or less with just a few supplies: 2 doilies, scissors, needle, thread, and a pair of tights! ModCloth suggests using opaque tights as they are thicker and less likely to run when sewing! We totally <3 this project idea!
What DIY projects are YOU doing for Valentine’s Day?

So cute, and now I have an excuse to buy doilies!

This is such a cute idea AND is a great way to stretch the use of tights that may have a flaw or a run that needs to be covered after a repair. Thank you for posting this!

I have heard about a fable, that if things are sewn while wearing them, girls loose the favour of men (and the other way around), luck is sewn away or in other tales, thoughts are sewn away (→ forgetfulness) :-) so, not really the right presentation of the howto, specially for the valentines day :-))
