My sister, she inspired me to start sewing but has now given it up herself, maybe this would inspire her to restart.

This bag would make the perfect gift for me! I never treat myself and neither does anyone else so I’m going to be selfish!

This bag would make a great gift for my best friend who is just starting to get in to sewing :) but I would want one for myself too, so I might have to buy a second one even if I did win!

While I would be tempted to keep this bag, I think the one person on my list who would truly appreciate it is my friend Danielle.

Oh I have to say this is the perfect bag for me. I love sewing and I love sharing what I create with others. I’m a hairdresser in a couple of nursing homes and I think this would be a great bag for my supplies and a terrific conversation starter.

This bag is so versatile it would work for so many on my list (including me!). This bag is a great size for a traveler—my girl friend or my brother (in a more “manly” fabric). A great gift from Santa to ME—Stash all my goods for traveling or sewing while in transit!

This is a perfect gift for my mom, who spent all her life sewing (her job) just to provide our needs. Even if we’re grown ups now and we take the turn to provide her needs, still she continue to sew because it makes her happy. I am so proud of my mom…she’s the best seamstress I ever know!

I live in France, and we don’t have Modcloth’s store around here…

This bag would make a great gift to me! It’s selfish, but I started sewing 3 years ago now, and I never regret it. This bag would perfectly go with all my sewn-by-me items, thinkink especially about a little cropped jacket from BWOF of september.

While it would be really, really, really hard to part with such a cute bag, the person I’d think it be perfect for is my mother. She sewed all of my clothes for a time while I was in elementary school. She has sewn numerous craft projects for my children, for gifts to others, and for profit. She sewed the bridesmaid dresses for my wedding as well as her own dress. But best of all, she has passed on to me what she knows about sewing. Without her example, encouragement, and investment in me in that way (as in many other ways), I’m sure I wouldn’t be sewing now and passing it on to my own daughter. Plus if I give it to her, maybe she’ll use it as an excuse to make the 1200 mile trip to come visit again!

I would have to say me ;) I am a novice sewing student. I don’t have any nice bags & only cheap knock offs in blacks & or busy patterns. I need something semi subdued in natural hues that can go with my mom-duites about town wearing jeans & t’s, that i usually can pepper with some note of interesting accessory. Everyone always asks me where i get my special pieces & if this were to be one of them, i could say i found it on my way to my bliss…creative drifts.
