This bag would be great for any seamstress, and would act like a beacon to other sewers

This bag would be great for any seamstress, especially my friend’s mother. She has made complex halloween costumes for each of her three children, ages 20, 16, and 14, numerous costumes and props for school plays, costumes for conventions and “just because” things. She’s a very selfless woman who also helped me construct a corset in just a few hours. The bag should go to her.

I think it would make a great gift for me, to hold materials to make gifts for others! (knitted scarves, handmade stamps, etc…) Seriously, this bag is super inspiring for the avid sewist, crafter, etc! LOOOVE!

My daughter, a super creative, who dabbles in a bit of everything,as every emerging artist should . Did I mention her wish list at Mod Cloth is extensive, by far her favorite online store. This would do it!

My friend Crissy would adore this bag. Although her sewing skills are mostly patching up clothing she already owns, she has an eye for fashion, an excellent shopper of vintage clothing and can pull an outfit together with such ease that it is extraordinary! She is far more brave than I am to try something new in her wardrobe that is risky, but she inspires me to try something new all the time.

My sister would love this bag; she is the subtle creative type. All our lives we’ve taken different paths through our creativity, she with her art, me with my writing. her with the artistry of her cooking, me with my DIY and gardening. Even in other things, we were night and day, she appreciating main stream fashion, me waist deep in alt-culture. Finally, our interests overlapped in sewing. She would love this, and it would be a great way for me to tell her I enjoy time spent with her and the hobby we share, even though we explore different things in our stitching.

My best friend’s sister would die for this bag! She’s studying fashion in school and she into these kind of things! Oh! And she can also make some pretty awesome party dresses :)

that’s crazysauce. it would be for me. i give gifts to myself ALL THE TIME.
or, i guess, it could go to my dad… i’m teaching him to sew and he does incredible hems on jeans… but i bet he’d give it back to me.

No matter how generous my intentions would be, I just know Id end up keeping this bag for myself. I’m about to move interstate to start a design course. It’d be great to do it with style.
