My dream gift would be a long arm quilting set up. It would sure speed up the quilting of the quilts that my kids quilting class make. The scissors would be great to use when I cut out the garments I make. No one touches my sewing scissors.

Dream gift for the holidays? …Uninterrupted time to sew, with a loving person to bring me cups of tea and cupcakes to keep me sustained so that I can actually finish something in one sitting :) Oh, and maybe that loving person could organise my fabric stash for me, in between the making of the cups of tea.

An industrial sewing machine. Ever since I got to play with one, more poor little home machine just doesn’t have the same appeal.

I read these are great shears. I have a cheap pair with plastic handles and they aren’t forged from one single piece of still. Regardless, I need to invest in a pair.

Well, it has nothing to do with sewing, but my boyfriend has been hinting at a certain sparkly piece of jewelry for a very long time, and I’m afraid that would top fabric under the tree. :)

My dream gift — a sewing room. Not a combined home office/sewing room. A WHOLE room just for sewing! (Not gonna happen!)

I would love a wall of cubbies to hold my fabrics and supplies so I can see what I have to work with. My favorite fabric store, Baer, now gone, had a wall like this for remnants – everything visible at a glance.

I would love for someone to renew and pay for my subscription to Burda magazine. I am also hoping to get money to put towards a new sewing machine that I’m saving up for.

My dream gift for the holidays is to have an extra room where I can sew as long as I want and not disturbing my son as he sleeps. I sew in our bedroom and when I’m so tied up in my sewing at night, my son couldn’t sleep peacefully because of my sewing machine. And during the day, he wouldn’t stop playing with my things. That’s why I couldn’t finish what I’m doing on time.=)

I’m drooling for a particular camera lens that I’ve got at the top of my wish list.

In a world where everyone got their way, I’d also get a pair of leather boots and the necessary repairs on my sewing machine.
