I really like Instyle because of how they lay out the wardrobe ideas, I always find new ways to combine colors and prints from there. I also love vogue living, not much fashion/sewing inspiration there but I love looking at the beautiful homes too!

I must give a plug to Quilting Arts and Haute Handbag, they are fun to read and get inspiration from. Then I try to find patterns from Vogue or BurdaStyle where I can incorporate ideas that I’ve seen in QA and HH. It is all inspiring. Add to this the techniques from Threads and you have the whole package!

I really love to look through ReadyMade, it makes me really excited. I also loved Domino, and was really sad when it went out of print. Real Simple Magagzine is one of my favorites to look through because I love the clean, strong layouts. Art in America and Sculpture are also some of my favorites. Nylon too!!!

Most of my inspiration tends to come from online searching, but I’ll occasionally buy a Vogue or InStyle to look for something new. As far as sewing goes, my favorite is the Sew Stylish quarterlies that Threads puts out—all of the technique and sewing know-how that Threads has, but in projects that are more inspiring to me as a still-younger woman. Plus I like that they do a lot on how to create and alter patterns to get multiple looks!

My favourite is Self Magazine. I love their articles, and their tips and advice help me to be the best I can be, mentally and physically. I also really like Elle, for pure beauty and fashion inspiration. And Somerset Sew, which is packed with sewing and craft ideas from very creative people. And finally Ready Made — I’m trying to improve my nest! (MissAndree at Hotmail.com)

I like Threads, Sew News, Creative Machine Embroidery for sewing ideas. Vogue, The Economist, and More for the articles. Vogue definitely has the most fascinating articles. And sometimes Easy Living (UK) when I can find it in the bookstore.
