My daughter just received a new embroidery machine for Christmas. She has been learning to sew for her two babies just like I did for her when she was little. I have told her to get the best thread possible.

I just watched a film called “Enchanted April.” The dresses were lovely. I want to use some of the shapes and details I saw in the costumes to add dresses to my wardrobe. Right now it is all pants and tops.

I plan on making #411 Jacket from BurdaPlus Autumn/Winter 2011. I enjoy using Gütermann thread, and so does my machine! It never breaks or disappoints me!

My daughter and I would share the thread to make rag dolls and embroider which is something that she has wanted to do for a the past year now! We could make purses and so many other things that could illustrate the beautiful color of the threads we use. Definitely get ready for Valentines Day projects to make as well, then there is St. Patrick’s Day, then Easter,…etc. the holidays just all start pouring out again! WHAT CAN WE NOT DO WITH THEM?!?

I always sew with Gütermann thread, so I will use it for my next projects: three-quarter length trousers, a wool jersey wrap dress, a top the colour of red wine, etc.
