I use a Black Sharpie and I write “fabric” on the fabric scissors and “paper” on all the others to make it clear to all. And I keep the fabric scissors with my fabric to make it clearer (if they aren’t easily accessible …). It really helps if your hubby gets to buy you your fabric scissors and realize how much good scissors cost.

These are great! And so easy to identify as ‘mine’! That seems to be the issue around my house – a pair of scissors is just a pair of scissors. Not true!
