As a relative beginner slightly struggling with trousers/pants, I’d like to see more patterns/examples of trousers. So many people on forums seem to struggle with/avoid them.

I like how the blog puts patterns to match runway looks but I would like to see more patterns after high fashion. They is some amazing different looks out there on the catwalk that I would love to make but am not sure how to make them.

I would like to see how to make a pair of pants that fit you nicely….for either men or women. I guess more to the point , would be tips on alterations. I find it very difficult to alter a pattern by myself while it is on me. I usually side step these projects and if I do dive into one I have to wait until I am going to visit my folks so that my Mom can help me with the alterations…which really draws out the length of a project!!! I’d also like to see current short cuts…. you know how now there are so many recipes out that take a complicated dish and make is simple. I’d like to see the same done with sewing techniques for ruffles, pleats, collars, cuffs, etc., …… I guess it would be short cuts for the accessories that you add to an item that make it unique. Thanks for the question and the oppotunity! Darby
