Yep – quite a few of my friends have been inspired by my creations. My daughter is also keen to have her own sewing area in her room – she’s only 8.

Unfortunately I’ve hadn’t had a chance to inspire someone because I am new in sewing. But I was inspired by my grandmother who’s the only job in her entire life was sewing indeed. There was a long time I didn’t want to learn from her but last year she bought me a sewing machine for birthday and from that moment I’m fascinated and very happy I can learn from specialist.

Just helped buying a sewing machine for my niece – but don’t think I can take the credit for inspiring her to start.

I have inspired about 20 children! I work as a Teaching Assistant and two lunchtimes a week I run a sewing club (no I don’t get paid extra!). The children love it, mostly girls but I have had a couple of boys join too. At the moment we are in the middle of making a stuffed soft toy. They had the choice of a lamb, a rabbit or a dog and we are recycling fleece jackets for the fabric as it is easy to sew and doesn’t fray. All the sewing is by hand at the moment.

I don’t think I’ve inspired anyone yet, but hope that my daughter will want to sew when she’s old enough :) I love the cool Baggu reusable bags.

My daughter-in-law told me that she loved my sewing and that she would like to learn to sew (I teach sewing classes……so she gets private lessons…….LOL!) For her past birthday, we got her a really nice Janome machine and she has been having so much fun…..she’s off and running!

I don’t think I have, at least not yet, maybe because I started sewing recently. But I’m trying to get my daughter interested and I’m hoping to succeed.

I inspired by 11 year old niece to start Knitting and sewing classes. I’ve been making her sweaters and blankets and scarves ever since she was born. In the beginning they were all a bit off, but she used to love them all the same. Last year she started taking knitting classes and made her first scarf. I’ve just started taking sewing and pattern making classes. I had her help me with measurements and cutting, and she loved it. She’s starting classes after the holidays. I wish we could take them together, but she lives in Canada.

Yes I’ve inspired my mom to start sewing. She wants to take up classes and go together.
