Unfortunately I don’t have a dedicated sewing room, so I have to sew on the kitchen table. It means I cannot leave my machine and serger for a long time, everything should be in the boxes before a meal time.

I have a long sewing table in our lofted sleeping area. It’s got storage boxes for fabrics and a drawer for notions. And it has the best view in Brooklyn. But no doors or walls, so if I’m serging my family knows it.

We´ve a room where the computer, books and my sewing machine are. It´s a comfortable space full of fabric, paper, buttons, wool, needles… it´s our particular office!

Anywhere that has a flat surface and enough space for me to work on any given project. I sew on my dining room table. My desk in my dorm room. The coffee table. The elevated counter in the kitchen while sitting on a stool. At school in the designated study rooms. I’d even bring my sewing to the library if they’d let me.

sewing is done on the dining room table, only other available space is 2 floors up which is very inconvenient when you have a small boy to attend to!

I’m lucky enough to have one of the spare rooms as my sewing room. It has a big dining table in it which I bargain hunted from Ebay. A big table is a must for sewing.

I sew on my dining room table! I stitch in bed at awful hours for my eyes and all my fabric stash is disguised within my closet clutter… I dream of having a dedicated sewing room with organized fabrics and thread and a comfortable chair with good lighting for stitching! …someday!

I live in a tiny apartment, so I sew either at my computer’s desk or small dining table. I dream of having my dedicated sewing room one day (and bigger home, of course). However, at current conditions I’m constrained to be extra tidy and organised, it couldn’t be a bad thing!

I have a cupboard with a fold out table that I think is meant to a ironing table but its perfect for the sewing machine and overlocker (serger). I’d love a sewing room but its a pretty good substitute.
