Mostly in my room! But I recently got a working space(I’m an illustrator) and nog I can work there, my working space is much bigger, I’m so happy about it, and it’s below where I live! Once every 2 weeks I have sewing classes so I get to work there too.

I am so lucky to finally have a sewing room. It is not complete, but I can at least use it. I have wanted my own sewing room for so many years so I can leave things set up and work on my projects whenever I can.

I sort of have a dedicated sewing room which is also a guest room and utility room! I wish I can have a really big table there for pattern and fabric cutting

I do have a room just for sewing, but it still spills out in to the rest of the house! I would love to have a room just for storage of supplies, and one just for sewing and fitting. I dream of a huge studio one day, where I would have room for multiple projects to be going on in the same space….

I wish I had a dedicated sewing room. My sewing space, however, is in a corner of my bedroom, next to two big windows where I have a table set up with my machines.

Our dining table is my dedicated sewing space. When our Christmas tree is up, we have to move the dining table into our living room, at which point we call my sewing space “Santa’s Workshop.” It helps make an otherwise out of place table festive!

I sew in the dining room – we have a large table that’s great for cutting out, but it does mean i’m constantly clearing away and getting stuff out again. With the acquisition of my overlocker I really need to find a place to set up sewing. Gone are the days of Spare bedrooms and plenty of space. Might just have to find a corner of the study!

I sew in the basement in the utility room. I have it completely cleaned out all except the washer/dryer and the rest is used for my sewing. IKEA white shelves and table, my machine and a couple of bookcases full of my fabric stash sorted by color. It is clean and bright and organized, which helps me focus on my projects.

My sewing room is in our computer room, but we have made enough room to allow both to live in that one room. It helps to be able to leave a project on a table and not worry about a child or animal getting it. When I worked on our kitchen table every day I had to fold everything up and put it away.

Having my own sewing studio is the best part of my home and has greatly increased my productivity!! My favorite part is the large work table for cutting and preparing fabric to sew. Keeping this space in order is another story…

In my loft, and it’s a dedicated sewing space. Well, the loft also stores some things, but mostly a sewing space :) If I didn’t have it I wouldn’t ever sew!

just got the flat rearranged with my hubbie, he gave up his study for my mess to be hidden:-) so i got the small room i only have to do the cuttings on the dining table:-) otherwise all my sewing stuff is arranged nicely there. That is actually a great help, i did not like when i had to pack away every bits of my projects at the end of the day, because it did not feel the same to restart again… and small bits got lost and it was all messy in our living area. But now: happy-happy-happy times:-)

I do have an attic as a sewing room, it’s all for me and my messy things! The thing is that this attic is over the garage and the acces to it is by a wood stair that goes up and down so as to put the cars below it. So when both of our cars are home, I can´t go upstairs and that ussually happens when I’m most inspired for sewing!

I sew in my basement. I created a dedicated space that has a converted dining table for a cutting table and have hung peg board from the exposed floor beams above to store some of my threads and notions. Even though it is a bit dark, I love being down there creating new garments and accessories for family and friends…that is what brightens my day.
