I mainly buy from trusted websites like Amazon, ThinkGeek, Walmart, and Target. I’ll use Google Shopping if I’m looking for something unique.

I’d say my first go to site is Amazon. I also shop etsy, ebay, half.com, fabric.com and a variety of yarn websites.

I haven’t done much shopping on line – just some books from amazon, and a pattern from burdastyle!

Before I moved out of my parents’ home, I didn’t do any online shopping, ever. I’d go with Mum to the nearest Spotlight store. After I started going to university and moved on my own to ‘the big city’ I learned a whole lot about online shopping, but for patterns I haven’t been very pressed to go much further than Burdastyle, it’s got everything! I still go to spotlight for materials – old habits die hard.

Lots of places…it depends what I am shopping for…fabric, sewing supplies, toys, cloth diapers. Lately some daily deal sites like Baby Half Off, Zulily, and Hippobargains.

I may be the odd one out here, but aside from anything that can be found at Chapters.indigo.ca, my guilty online pleasure is Threadless.com for statement t-shirts. Certain individuals in my acquaintance know to expect a t-shirt in their gifts and I have at least 9 just in my own collection. And I am supposed to be phasing them out of the wardrobe!

I try to do most of my shopping locally, but it’s not easy in my small town. I usually end up resorting to Amazon for books, Etsy and Fabic.com for Fabric and crafts, and Ebay for everything else.

Believe it…or not….I find so many nice fabrics on ebay. I can almost always find good quality fabrics at a great price on ebay. I usually look for an ebay store that will combine shipping and buy several things at the same time to save shipping costs.

I love to shop online. I find amazing deals on grocery, clothes, etc. from several mommy blogs. My main source for free or nearly free items is craigslist.org or freecycle.com. I purchase my fabrics locally because I need to touch them and see the detail in person.

Amazon and ebay for the majority. I’ve never yet bought fabric online yet but I often find fabric sites through google which I spend time drooling over.

Just about anywhere. I do a lot of comparison pricing (including shipping costs, which can be more then the item!). I try to buy from the little guy when I can, you have to support our entrepreneurs.

I’ve shopped online for fabric at joanns.com. Done a lot of shopping on Ebay and Amazon. I like shopping online, and I agree shipping CAN jack up the cost. I usually justify it with comparing it to the cost of gas and frustration of shopping around searching for THE thing. Plus I love receiving packages at home. It’s like getting a gift, even if it is to myself.
