I used to sew a lot for my daughters but less so since they moved away. I’ve been sewing for my nieces and great niece this year and I’m just loving making kids clothes again. I forgot how much fun it is and how quickly they make up. Hope you all had a very merry Christmas!

I’ve been busy in the sweatshop sewing Christmas gifts, now it’s time to make something for myself. Then, busy again for a business I’d like to get started. I’ve been tweaking patterns, and am shamed to say that some of my gift recipients are my pattern gunea pigs!

I love to sew for my grandchildren! But I don’t like to sew for other people, the clothes seem to me not good enough somehow … My daughters don’t want me to sew for them, they can do it by themselves. Soon I’ll try to sew something for my husband, I never have sewn man’s clothes before! :)

I admit I sew for inside people only. That means people I’m my house and right now that’s just me and the kids. Its funny though how many people want hand made clothing. When folks find out see they say “can you make….” If I took requests id never have time to sew for us.

I mostly sew for people I love. I collect patterns for myself that are always lower priority than sewing for everybody else.

I sew for myself and, very rarely, loved ones. I typically only sew for loved ones who I know respect what goes into handmaking something- those who don’t, you might a well buy a shirt from a store for.

I sew mostly for my daughter and me. She’s still in the stage where she likes to dress like me (hurray!), so I make us things that match. Occasionally, I sew things for my husband, and I also help my mom out with her projects when she’s running out of time (or patience!).

I sew for myself. I have an 18 month old granddaughter that I started sewing for too. I want to make some Mother Daughter things! I think that would make a great gift for her Mom!
