I’ve been to many countries and I still stand by the fact that NYC is the best city. It’s just the feel of it. They’re so many different kinds of people and places there. The fashionistas, the Wall Streeters, the tourists and MoMA, Empire State building, and 5th ave! And surprisingly, NYC is pretty clean. If you go to Paris, you’ll see cigarette buds on the floor everywhere, and I literally mean everywhere. And London air is filled with cigar smoke, and since I’m borderline allergic to it, I had massive headaches and felt lightheaded most of the time.

I live in Denver now, but NYC is my favorite. I lived in NYC for 9 years and I miss and love it so much. While some may dream of warmer places, my husband and I dream of retiring there.

Montpellier, France. I’m very chauvinistic ^^ I don’t like cities that much, and Montpellier is a perfect compromise : it has got everything you’re looking for (errr except for sewing supplies…), it’s small, old, and all the city center is for pedestrians. Plus the weather is wonderful!
