I know an artist, Maeula, who makes some spectacular prints on Spoonflower, whose work I’d love to purchase, especially as higher quality fabric.

Oh I blogged just a couple of weeks ago about how I just acquired a stunning 1950s pattern and was so in love with the fabric on the envelope that I wanted to get it custom printed at Spoonflower! I would love it in a silk! Swoon! Oh I hope I win like you wouldn’t believe!

I’ve uploaded some drawings my daughter made, and I would consider printing that for a special project. There’s also a wonderful rabbit in the moon print that I’ve been eyeing for a special project.

Right now I am a little obsessed with Ikat and not many places seem to have a good selection of it. Spoonflower has a nice selection. I’m also searching for the perfect linen for a skirt project I have in mind and again I think Spoonflower has that covered.

I would use Alice Vintage Border and Text (black and white) for a full-skirted dress, using the border as the skirt hem. I can imagine the dress perfectly in my mind: high boateck in front, low neck in the back, gathered skirt with lots of puff in it…
