It’s hard for me to find really high-quality fabrics where I live, but the hardest thing for me to find so far has been Petersham ribbon, and I actually ended up buying it from Sunni’s shop.

I agree with other people that a tailors ham is hard to find.

I’ve been looking for a tailor’s ham and can’t find one here, so winning this would be so great!

Interesting trims, buckles, etc., not to mention fabric! I have to make a periodic trip to New York City to stock up, although it can be hard to plan in advance to anticipate all my upcoming needs.

Hardest notion for me to find is a decent ham or seam roll – I’ve tried making my own but can’t pack them firmly enough! And a clapper is as rare as hen’s teeth, even on the interwebs!

I’m hesitating between tailor’s ham and horsehair braid for skirts hem… I live in France and those two seem to be quite elusive. So you can guess this giveaway is more than welcome! Especially since I’ve been wanting to try and make a jacket for some time.

Good quality interfacing – here in NL we’re stuck with the vile vliseline, uggh!

I would say tailor’s ham… I live in Dubai and even though it’s a fabrics paradise it’s quite hard to find good quality notions.

Matching tapes in common – no matter if I need piping tape, broad bias tape or simple tape for decoration, I seldom find it in the width, colour or material I need.

Actually a tailors ham is hard to find around my parts, most sewers I know have had to make their own!
