I sew in my craft/office room. I have a table set up for crafting and sewing but end up sharing it with my laptop as the kids are always on the regular desk.

I have a great sewing space in our upstairs loft with all white furniture, tons of light, and very little clutter. I love it!

I sew in the dining room on the dining table. Not ideal, as I sometimes find crumbs on my fabric.

I sew at home on our table, so when it’s meal times I have to put the sewing machine and everything away and then get everything out again. I currently use an old Kenmore 14 series which is pretty heavy to move. I don’t have my own room as our house is small but I get everything I need to do done, just sucks that it takes me extra long to get my projects done because of all constant moving :(

Right now I sew in the attic, which is a big improvement over the closet I used before. Unfortunately it is really cold in the winter in spite of having a heater there.

I sew in my “craft corner” in my bedroom where I have a desk for my machine and some pattern storage, Sometimes my sewing does take over the kitchen table though…

Every and any place possible. In the living room, at school my desk, kitchen counter top, dining room. It all depends on how much space I need and whats available. I make it work.

I have a dedicated sewing room. My flatmate and I made sure to get an apartment that had a dining room that we could turn into a work room instead, so we both sew there. I spread into the living room to cut large projects though.

I have a combination sewing/guest room. When ever we have company, I move my fabric stash to make room for our guest. I have my sewing machine set up on an old student desk. Works pretty darn well!

Depends really. Sometimes I sew on kitchen table, sometimes on the desk I place all my books at, and if I’m really in a rush then on my bed.

I have a dedicated sewing room that is currently unusable- the carpet is coming out! I have been sewing in the dining room with my oldest daughter. Two sewing machines and a serger instead of dinner. ;)

I sew in the living roomat the computer table or at the dinning room table. We tried to dedicate the home office as my sewing/crafting room- I had it for a whole six months :), but we ended up having another baby- a boy, Theo, born on 10/26 :). So we had to rearrage the bedrooms and our oldest moved into the office. I have to say loosing the sewing/craft room was well worth it :)

I sew in my sewing room which is really a closet with just enough space for a little table and my machine. I have to climb over a set of bikes, clothes, suitcases and who knows what else to get situated but the space is all for me and my sewing and even if it’s just a little space, it’s my space and I love it.

For the first time in many years I have a dedicated sewing room. I love being able to just shut the door and not having to worry about the mess at the end of a good sewing day!

I sew anywhere that I can set up a sewing machine. I have a room , but the light is poor there, so I bring the sewing machine to the family room.

I also take the machine on the road and love to sew with my girl scout troop!

I sew in my room, in the dining room, at my quilt club, in the waiting room at the doctor’s office (hand sewing… a little hard to transport a sewing table:) ). Anywhere, practically with a flat surface that’s clear. No, I don’t have a sewing room… that would be really nice though! It’s what you do with what you got that counts.
