Because we don’t have any extra rooms in our house. I removed the kitchen table and put in a large desk and hutch. I do all my sewing there! Glad we have a dining room!! :)

What a nice friend. I always wanted a house with a sun room. It would be my favorite room in the house.

I have a special large sewing room, but I still bring my machine out to the living room, on the coffee table and sew while watching TV, lol.

My bedroom doubles as my sewing room. Most of the time I use a folded up table on the floor for a hard surface.

I have claimed our bonus room as my sewing room, except the part where all of the toy trains live.

Because I don’t have an extra room, I’ve dedicated a portion of my living room for sewing. It’s not ideal, but having that area available all the time works for me, and inspires me to sew much more often than I would if I had to dig things out of a closet each time I want to make a little something.

I wish I had a dedicated sewing room. Unfortunately I sew at the kitchen table.

Right now, I sew in the living room. Once our daughter and her family get a place of their own, I can have my sewing/craft room back.
Dec 23, 2011, 02.08 AMby mariaecleggett
My sewing room is have office, half sewing room. I always turn on the computer and listen to music while I sew and then cut out my patterns in the next room on the pool table since a lot of other stuff is in there and I have no other space to cut patterns. But it is suffices.

I sew in my living room in front of the tv. My sewing room is a fabric hoarders nightmare.

I do have a sewing room. My sewing machine and ironing board are always set up and I can close the door when it is messy. All my books and knitting supplies are in there, too.

The place I currently live is very tiny so I sew at my computer desk…not a lot of room but it works for now.
Dec 22, 2011, 07.10 PMby MadeByMarzipan
What a cute little machine! I just dedicated a room in my house for sewing / crafting. Finally!
Dec 22, 2011, 06.23 PMby calendar
Unfortunately I don’t have a dedicated sewing space – I used to sew on a spare desk I had, but since I moved my sewing machine has not been in use because I don’t have a table to put it on! If I win this giveaway though, I will run out and buy a table immediately :)
Dec 22, 2011, 06.22 PMby MaryBeverly
Sadly, I don’t have a dedicated sewing room! Instead, I sew at my giant dining room table, which at least has enough space!
Dec 22, 2011, 06.06 PMby foliusdesign
i sew on my kitchen table. It’s not the best sewing conditions, but it gets the job done!
Dec 22, 2011, 05.58 PMby smn87
I sew at the kitchen table. Someday I’ll have a sewing room, but for now, the kitchen is my “sewing room”
Dec 22, 2011, 05.22 PMby joycewatts61
I sew on a table in my living room. I call this room my “therapeutic domain”. The sunlight is always a welcoming addition in the day time. This small area is where I zone in and become one with the notions and potions in my sewing basket.

I don’t have my own sewign room yet. But I have a sewing table and a few drawers to keep things organized.
