i have spent up 250.00 for amachine but the one i want is a featherweight and I am saving up for it 300.00 and the treadle which is 150.00 but if i had the money i want a quilting machine with frame from bernina and that would cost a pretty penny…..

I bought my vintage straight-only machine for $100. Since it’s working great for me, I can’t think of spending more.

My husband bought mine as a gift for me. I think it was about $400, but now that I really sew a lot, I think I’d spend up to $1000 for all the bells and whistles! Would love to have a serger!

I would consider spending quite a bit, but right now I can not justify spending more than $500. That is why I hope I win this giveaway. The E20 would compliment the basic 30+ year old machine that I already have perfectly!

The most I’ve ever spent is $400. I rarely buy new, I normall try to find something on Craig’s List or I’ve purchased machines friends bought and then rarely used.

if I consider buying a new machine I would certainly part with 200-300 $ (unless I decide to buy it second hand) :)

Wow! That’s a tough question. On a good quality, basic machine, brand new, easily $600 – $700. More as the features get added. For a good used machine, I would expect it to be less than $50.00. A new serger, maybe $2000. Speaking of new sergers, I would LOVE to have this one! Thanks for the opportunity to win it! :D

well it’s depend on how much it worth. If it’s a really good sewing machine and the old one I have gone wrong, I guess I’d be able to spend more than I imagine.:) A fortune… :)

About 600$, but I guess they are more expensive here then in the US.

I spent 300 dollars on mine, but if I start doing sewing for a living I may spend at least 700, (if I ever get that much…) also maybe a few hundred for a serger
