0 times! sadly, i don’t have a rotary cutter. i can imagine the possibly though. maybe someone will get it for me off my wishlist. until then, my “quaint,” imperfect circles will have to do.

I dream of green. I have a rotary cutter, which I would use for many projects, but I only have a tiny craft-size cutting matte. (Didn’t think about that issue when I got the rotary cutter)! So, I will have to say that I use the rotary cutter 1-3 times a week at the most—primarily because I’m limited to small cutting projects right now. I’d like to use it for cutting out larger projects, like Burda patterns, but that’s somewhere in the future!

If I am working on a sewing project, I use my olfa. I would say 5, if I were deep into a project.

I have never used a rotary cutter, though, my husband says watching people use them is pretty neat. One day, when I have the funding I’ll invest in one. I understand that they are better to use with certain fabrics and you don’t get shifting like you do with scissors.

I use the fabric one 1-3 times per week. I have a second one for paper, which does not get used as frequently. The cutters and the mat are great tools.
Dec 20, 2011, 03.29 PMby sherlyk
I would say I use a rotary cutter 1-3 times a week, and switching blades between sewing projects and paper projects.

I don’t use a rotary cutter – sadly I don’t have one (yet). Though I have used one before and it was fantastic. I could get so much more done with one!

I use one 1-3 times a week

I use a rotary cutter 0 times a week because I don’t own one yet. The rotary cutter and cutting mat are on my wish list for sewing supplies. I would use them every week if I owned them.

Dec 20, 2011, 03.20 PMby foursquarewalls
Probably 1-3 times, or more depending on how many squares and strips I have to make for a particular project,
Dec 20, 2011, 03.19 PMby thecraftyone
I havent sewn anything lately but when I was sewing regularly I would have to say 7-9 times a week
Dec 20, 2011, 03.18 PMby vector
Probably 0 times a week. I do own a rotary cutting but my mat is so small is impractical to use for larger projects.
Dec 20, 2011, 03.18 PMby p1ppy1
1-3 times. I have to switch blades when my husband uses it for paper. Would be nice to pass my old one on to him.
Dec 20, 2011, 03.17 PMby jrees09
I use one maybe 1-3 times.

I don’t own one and this isn’t the worst thing. The worst thing is that you can not buy it in my country. =,,(

Ha! Hard to answer this one since I do my sewing in batches. When I have an order for tutus I end up cutting for several hours over several days! Could not get by without my mat and rotary cutter.

4-6 times…what was life like before rotary cutters?
Dec 20, 2011, 03.07 PMby mlssfshn

4-6 times. I don’t know how I survived without one!

I use a rotary cutter almost every time I cut out fabric or a pattern, but since my time is limited because of my full-time job and two dogs, I’d say that ends up being 1-3 times a week.
