Organic fabrics because I worry about all the chemicals going into the soil used to make cotton.

I love working with wool suiting. I live in Minnesota, where most of the time the weather is a bit cooler, so a lined wool garment is the perfect way to stay warm (and stylish)!

What is your favorite fabric to work with? I like cotton which is a natural choice. Cotton is easy to sew and it comes in a great array of colors and prints as well.

Cotton voile, I make a fair bit of lingerie and it is cool to wear, less wrinkly than poplin ( and way cooler) and easier than lawn, all in all, a beautiful fabric :)

Wool it is so versatile and always gives such lovely results! It can be traditional, but also is so “moldable” that the sky is the limit when working with it.

Wool is my favorite fiber to work with… probably because it is so versatile. But if I must answer about a fabric fabric, I would say batiste because it can be made from a variety of fibers and blends and it is soft, delicate, and feminine.
I love Selvedge magazine!

Do you really mean the deadline is today at 10? It looks like that’s when you posted the giveaway. I really enjoyed working with some crepe in recent projects, and totally want to learn how to work with silk soon.

I have a thing for sewing knits. I know a lot of people have problems with them, but to me the fit is so much more forgiving with knit fabrics!

Radiance is a must if you have not tried it. A wonderful cotton/silk blend that sews like cotton but feels and looks like silk.
