Well to be honest I don’t like hanging my clothes up…. The usual thing that happens is they sit in a basket for about a week and a half and then when I do hang them up they look like shriveled-up dish rags:/ And all of my irons die after being put through my crafting torcher, and then stink at getting the folds out of my jeans and tops. I guess how this iron would help me prepare for the holidays is to iron out my dress that I will wear for celebrating, and help replace the poor soul of a craft iron after I get done using it to make decorations!

I don’t own an iron. Honesty I can’t afford one. I do machine embroidery and every time I finish a project I have to bring it to my sister’s house to iron it..

What a cool iron! I can see how this would speed up pressing the seams when I am piecing quilts. And I am always working on a quilting project during the holidays!

SInce I just dropped my iron and it’s being held together with duct tape, a new iron might help prevent me from being electrocuted!!?

I desperately need a new iron as my old one just conked out. I am making a patchwork quilt and I set up an ironing station just to my left as I sew. After each seam, I just turn and press it. It is easier and faster than getting up and going to the ironing board each time. If I should win this wonderful Rowenta Focus iron, I would consider it my best Christmas present ever!

Well,my usual use is for pressing seams when I’m sewing but I’m just about done with my holiday projects. The thing I need a new Iron for most, right now for the holidays, is to press my duvet cover that my husband left sitting in the dryer for two days. What a wrinkled mess. And I don’t trust my current iron because it’s begun spitting, sputtering, and leaking water. Spots? No thanks… I’ll just live with my ugly old ratty quilt till I get a new iron. :)

I have a large Rowenta steam generator iron. It’s great, but not portable for our holiday RV traveling. This iron would be great to take along!
Dec 19, 2011, 02.42 PMby boomer57
I would use the iron to help me block some of the old sweaters I am felting and turning into gifts.
