I would like a section just for video tutorials. Video is the best way for me to learn and they are more interesting to follow.

More patterns for men; so I can sew for the men in my life!

I liked having the free patterns to try. New techniques and “quick tips” are always welcome.

I LOVE the current format, but would be delighted with a fabric buying guide perhaps? I find that I always go for the same types of fabric – mainly cotton, and wool mixes. It would be great to have recommendations from yourselves & other members. Also, perhaps a book review section would be useful – I know that I have bought LOADS of books online, only to happy with a select few of them:( Keep up the good work guys

Definitely more menswear! More costumes?

OMG! This is the prize for me! I LOVE Pendleton fabrics. (Santa can you hear me!?)
I agree with other poster who mentioned wanting to see more tags available. I think the usefullnes of Burdastyle would increase dramatically if everything was tagged and if we were able to search by tags.
I would also like to be able to favorite blog posts. FB liking them is one thing, but I don’t want to use FB to publicly manage my creative interests…. that is what having a studio on Burdastyle should be for.

A Step By Step Project – like a simple jacket or skirt – for those of us who are just getting back into sewing and are learning NEW MACHINES .

I agree about a better tagging system. And we all love free patterns, don’t we? All in all, I’m very pleased with the site.

I´d like to see more patterns for men.

I’d like to see more techniques on alterations – how to alter (from a pattern or an existing garment) the neck line, sleeves, waist, etc…or even how to add personal flourishes with trim and such to make your garment more YOUnique.

I would like to see designing book reviews and maybe product reviews – on sewing machine and sewing accessories or tips for buying sewing stuff – what to buy and where… :)

I would love to see projects assigned to categories, to make searching for inspiration, and techniques easier. You know, costumes, formalwear, accessories, knitted, crocheted-somehow given their own space, collectively. It would be nice to see the wealth of knowledge made a bit more accesible.

I think it would be nice to have more free patterns and if it could be for some wimwear too, it would be great. And I would love some full slip or half slip patterns, for wovens AND knits, please!

more book reviews would be great (i have been having trouble finding good, and current, books on pattern drafting). I also love learning about the burdastyle team….it definitely brings a face to the website….i love seeing your creations and i have been fawning over those new blog posts about what shoes, coats, etc, you all wear around the office!

I love BurdaStyle as it is, but if I could add anything, it might be more links to new fabric collections, pattern collections, etc. on other sites, and maybe even a web deal of the week.

i would love to see more user-created patterns. it’s great to see what everyone sews, but i also know how much effort and work goes into patterns (i’m an apparel design student) and i would love to see everyone’s hard work. through seeing these patterns we could all learn new tricks and tips.

Oh goodness, I love this fabric!! It is absolutely gorgeous. The hard part would be deciding what to do with it!! I also would like to see more free or cheaper patterns. While I agree that $5 isn’t much to pay for a pattern if you are going to love it and make it over and over again, sadly, sometimes a pattern just isn’t all you had hoped it would be…

An occasional sale on your patterns.

I’d love to see more patterns by burdastyle like we used to have every week. I loved them and the ones from the magazine are great but there’s nothing like a great new pattern on a monday :)

Pattern making how-tos would be good.
