I was so pleasantly surprised to see the tutorial on arrowhead tacks on the front page today. I sew mostly from vintage patterns, and I suspect a lot of other sewists here do as well. More vintage sewing techniques would be a lovely addition to the site!

I would like the search system to be a little more advanced to we can eliminate certain criteria and find what we need quickly (more tags maybe?). Yes, that would be really practical.

I think it would be really cool to start city guides for the best places for notions, different types of fabric, maybe museums with inspiring collections, great vintage shops to find pieces for upcycling, that kind of thing!

I feel like Burdastyle has kinda drifted away from making new patterns lately. I’d like to see some new and creative pieces coming from burdastyle. Also, I think that you guys use to do the Technique Tuesday, and I thought that was great for people like me who are self-taught. Please start that up again!!!! Even if it’s basic or obvious stuff, I’m sure someone will use it!

Indeed! Like some other users already mentioned book reviews would be great. I already have some sewing/craft books but everytime I look for a new one I have the difficulty that I don´t get some at the local dealer and have a massive offer in the internet without having the possibility to look inside. A professional review by Burdastyle or an expert review by the users would be very helpful!

Ooh, menswear would be nice! I want to make things for my boyfriend, but so far all I’ve done is a pair of boxers based on ones that fell apart, and a chef’s hat as a joke. He’s getting a bit jealous of all my new silk and woolen things.

I would like to see a page with projects that are messed up. I mean, everyone makes big sewing mistakes once in a while (or not?). If there was a section on Burdastyle where people could list their messed up dresses and pants I would feel better sometimes… It would be nice to learn from mistakes – I would like others to comment on what I should do better next time. I would definitely show f****d up items there. Promise. I know what I would put up first: a totally stupid version of a Marie skirt.

I would like to see more video tutorials, and more of the fabulous Burdastyle patterns!!! Perhaps a section where users can share their own videos of how they construct a garment. Another interesting thing would be to have more about the burdastyle team, their own patters, tips, etc. Thanks!
