The pattern booklet is very explanatory. The sizes are perfect. All the patterns can be seen at the beginning of the magazine. And the designs are very trendy, following the European style. Love it!

My favorite aspect of Burda Style is the Project link. I am so mesmerized by the many creative people that post their designs which gives others the opportunity to expand their talents. Creating handmade items for external embellishments will always enhance a look and personal esteem. For example, a simple dress, hat, etc., is personalized when someone add trimmings, decorative stitches, and other embellishings. As a seamstress, my creativity is sometimes blocked and Burda Style projects assist me in applying details to a piece that enhances the quality of the look. I appreciate this website mainly for the reason of helping me and others maintain our desires to create with our hands.

I go almost every day, if work will let me! I love the patterns I can find, but I really enjoy seeing the creations of others, that gives me ideas to me! I think “Burda Style on line” is a very good idea in the face of the people we love sewing. What brings me back are the new models that I can go find

I have a fab sewing room, I have a dress making Dummy called “Gunna” as in gunna get a new one because “Gunna” is tied together with Knitting Yarn , she has traveled form home to home when I have moved, She will always say with me but she really want’s to retire, and just stand and watch what I invent.

Honestly my favorite part is the really cute free patterns to download & print at home. For the ones that can’t afford to buy everything we need it helps me so much to be able to keep doing something I love….sewing!!

I come here for inspiration :) we’ve finally managed to move into our little 3 bedroom house instead of all 4 of us being cramped in a one bedroom apartment and I am slowly decorating the house and making as many bits for it as I can, and I come to this site for inspiration and ideas of things to make to make my house homely and warm :)

My favourite part is the community spirit, helping each other to continue to improve the designs. I like that I can put my own ideas in about certain methods and not worry about people wondering what I’m going on about, it’s such a friendly community spirit that you always feel like your comments are being taken on board.

Budastyle is constantly offering new tips, new ideas, and showcasing the talent of others. The constant change means there is always something to keep me interested. I love being able to see what others create and it helps inspire me to create my own projects. I keep coming back to this site cause it reminds me I need a creative outlet, an outlet I too often neglect, and that I need to keep sewing to keep my life in balance. So I guess for me this site is therapy and inspiration.

one of the things i really like about burda is the uploads of projects by different people. When i see different fabric used or ways someone has modified a pattern it gives my ideas for my own projects and fabric choices.

I love Burdastyle, and have come back time and time again, I love browsing through the projects which always fill me with new ideas and inspiration, and when I am stuck for something to do or lacking an idea, I can flick through the patterns and download one, which is great way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon, and I have even got my teenage daughter hooked now, so hoping that her new sewing machine from Santa will be just the ticket to continue our hobby and she will be able to use Burdastyle for her inspiration too.
