Oh I just love everything vintage but anything from the 20’s thru the 40’s is just so fab! Dior’s “New Look” with the A-line skirts are marvelous and I also love circle skirts!

Aprons, I love vintage aprons especially the bib style. When I see them I can smell the home-baked bread.

My new fascination is with 30s hats, those that are slanting on one side. Otherwise I have always adored 70s fashion, bell bottom pants, A-shaped short dresses and tunics ,bishop sleeves. I find that the best way to wear vintage styles is to mix the seemingly non-mixable and to give a modern twist to a vintage pattern.

I’m a sucker for anything from 30s to early 60s. Late 50s dresses are an absolute favorite! The silhouette is so flattering, ladylike and fun!

The 1940’s are a very influential period of fashion. They established some classic styles that are still relevant.

The 50’s and early 60’s. But what I like most is that in any era everyone always looked so polished and put togther like they had made a real effort before leaving the house. You try that today people ask you what the occasion is.

I believe that 30s figure is super femenine and fashion got to be very imaginative. I prefer 30s night dresses, they’re so elegant and challenging when sewing as they al have clean bias cuts and beautiful fabrics. We had Madeleine Vionnet , Elsa Schiaparelli and even Chanel explendor. Hats and hairstyles were gorgeous too so I love that decade.
