I love 1930’s fashion. The lines of the garments, the details, the fabrics and the colour scale. I’d love to be able to recreate some of it. At the moment I tend to turn to the early 1980’s, though.

The fashion of the 30’s! Especially the hats. If you take the great collars and long skirts and then top it with a hat, it just makes the outfit.

Dec 5, 2011, 03.11 PMby lindac
I would have to say the late 50s and early 60s because that era fit my body shape best, as someone else pointed out about themselves, and the clothes were so pretty.

My favorite vintage fashion would be the strapless dress that has a pencil skirt bottom with the flare over the pencil from the 80s. And the black dress that Audrey Hepburn wore in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961).

My favourite vintage fashion would be Dior’s New Look
Dec 3, 2011, 08.05 PMby megatron
My favorite era for vintage fashion would be the 1920s. I love hobble skirts and dropped waist lines. Head pieces were a big part of this era and i like that headbands are coming back into style because it is very reminiscing of this time period. Women were establishing fashion as something to own with their personality in the 20s and becoming more outspoken. The outlandish culture of the flappers pushed the edge for women and opened new doors not only for women but for the evolution of fashion.

I must admit I have an obsession with corsets from any time period. I love the fabric, construction, and the look they have when worn.
